Job Title: Co-op Digital Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Co-op Digital Analyst to join our Optimisation Centre team within Co-op Business Services (CBS). As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving data best practice, developing data-driven solutions, and supporting the creation of system analysis to enable data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with business partners to understand high-level business problems and capture these as user stories, ensuring clear articulation of business benefits.
  • Translate business problems into technical solution designs, reacting to business needs and creating solutions to tight timescales.
  • Model data available in our data platforms, ensuring sufficient quality to deliver agreed solutions that meet user requirements, are scalable, and performant.
  • Develop solutions using common tools and standards, ensuring a robust, well-integrated, and well-supported product is delivered.
  • Support the development of analysis and impact assessments that enable business interpretation of technical changes.
  • Conduct thorough testing of solutions and work with partners to achieve business sign-off.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in understanding business problems, scoping requirements, and designing potential solutions.
  • Experience in building and maintaining solutions and products using Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, Microsoft Excel, PowerAutomate, and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or SAP S4 HANA, and canvas-based PowerApps; experience in data management, processing, and analysis.
  • Experience with data visualisation techniques and tools, including Power BI.
  • Understanding of standard system database structure and relationships between tables.
