About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Jet2. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in implementing our data science strategy and leveraging data to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy predictive models using machine learning frameworks and work with big data technologies to generate customer, marketing, and commercial insights.
  • Identify efficiencies in the use of data across its lifecycle, reducing data redundancy and structuring data to ensure efficient use of time.
  • Create algorithms and models to understand how changes in metrics in one area of the business impact other areas.
Requirements
  • Experience in using R, Python, or a similar statistical analysis package.
  • Strong SQL skills and the ability to create clear data visualisations in tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Developed and deployed predictive models using machine learning frameworks and worked with big data technologies.
  • Experience in cleansing and enriching of data, with the ability to interpret business requirements in terms of data architecture, database technology, and data model design.
