We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to ensure the smooth operation of our mechanical systems
  2. Responding to reactive maintenance requests to resolve issues promptly
  3. Conducting fault finding and diagnosis to identify and resolve mechanical issues
  4. Working on mechanical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
  5. Assisting with electrical tasks, including training on electrical systems
  6. Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all times

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance
  • Willingness to learn and develop electrical skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds or NVQ
