About the Job

As a Prison Security Escort, you will work closely with the prison service, assisting our client in maintaining the facilities. You will be part of a security team, responsible for escorting and overseeing contractors, such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians, as they complete their maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the identification of contractors
  • Ensure contractors are briefed on security measures
  • Book contractors in and out of the facility
  • Create a tool list
  • Escort contractors through the prison to their designated work area
  • Oversee contractors while they work, ensuring their safety and security
  • Verify that contractor tools are accounted for before leaving the work area
  • Use a radio to request permission to move contractors within the prison
Requirements
