An exciting opportunity has emerged for a seasoned Residential Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse range of properties, including both apartment complexes and housing communities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all property management responsibilities are executed in accordance with relevant leases, legal requirements, and industry standards, while maintaining efficiency and timeliness.
You will receive support from a dedicated Property Management Coordinator, an Accounts team, and a Team Leader.
This position is well-suited for individuals with a background in property leasing or management, as extensive training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations and long-term administration of a residential property portfolio.
- Engage with clients, tenants, contractors, and insurance providers to address any concerns.
- Direct appropriate contractors for minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Prepare annual budgets for service charges.
- Coordinate with the accounts department regarding service charge payments, outstanding balances, and invoicing.
- Work alongside the Property Management Coordinator to ensure necessary insurance policies are in place and manage claims as needed.
- Advise clients on compliance with leases, legal standards, health and safety regulations, and risk management guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties within the assigned portfolio.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Available for out-of-office meetings, with compensation in the form of time off in lieu.
- Possess a valid UK driving license and a vehicle insured for business purposes.
