Job Title: Quality Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team at Acorn by Synergie. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing quality control measures to prevent defects and errors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examination and inspection of products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Conducting quality audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing quality control procedures
  • Collaborating with production teams to ensure quality standards are met
  • Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures
Requirements:
  • Recognised engineering apprenticeship with relevant qualifications
  • Preferably City & Guilds Craft/Technician
  • Quality Auditing qualification preferable
  • Related engineering background including appreciation of metal cutting, assembly techniques, operation of mechanical devices, inspection techniques, knowledge of Quality System requirements
  • Good computer and general literacy with an ability to produce clear and concise reports
  • Comprehensive knowledge and operating capability of specialist measuring equipment such as Co-ordinate Measuring Machines, Optical scanning equipment, Surface Finish measuring instruments etc.
  • Excellent spoken and communication skills
  • Organisational skills and a methodical approach
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet project deadlines
  • Close attention to detail
  • Good team working skills
  • Solid background of manufacturing/mechanical engineering, inspection techniques, knowledge of Quality Control systems and cleanliness standards
