About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisory Manager to join our Business Tax practice at BDO. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing expert advice and solutions to our clients, helping them navigate the complexities of tax compliance and advisory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on high-profile M&A activity, ensuring tax compliance and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, including control of client take-on and engagement, billings, and identification of opportunities to improve recoveries
  • Provide Corporation Tax Compliance and Advisory services to a wide range of clients using resources from a shared service team or via technology tools
  • Lead projects of limited scale and complexity, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues across BDO to deliver exceptional client service and drive business growth
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of taxation and experience dealing with complex tax issues
  • Experience advising on M&A transactions, with a passion for further developing this expertise
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
