Gordon Leak Associates Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Site Manager to join a well-established and reputable company in the energy efficiency sector. This permanent role involves overseeing the safe delivery of projects involving energy efficiency measures in occupied homes.
Main Responsibilities:- Health and Safety Leadership: Provide leadership to the site delivery team, ensuring all works are carried out safely and without risk to installers, occupants, and the general public.
- Project Coordination: Liaise closely with the Operational Support Team to ensure works are carried out in accordance with agreed specifications and quality standards.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with occupants and homeowners, keeping them informed of progress and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Supply Chain Management: Ensure suppliers, sub-contractors, and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety, quality assurance, and installation standards.
- Site Management: Minimize disruption to occupants and homeowners, maintaining clean and tidy areas at all times.
- Record Keeping: Conduct toolbox talks, daily activity briefings, and maintain accurate records of works done and in progress.
- Material Procurement: Liaise with the Operational Support team to order materials as required to complete the project.
- Team Leadership: Lead the site team to deliver the company's management expectations, managing and supporting individuals to meet and exceed business performance targets.
- Experience: Proven experience as a supervisor/site manager, with a track record of delivering projects in occupied buildings/homes.
- Health and Safety: Experience of managing health and safety procedures, with knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
- Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid certifications (desirable).
- IT Skills: Competent user of IT software packages, including MS Office or similar quality assurance software (desirable).
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: High level of organizational ability, with time management skills to drive and meet deadlines.
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated, proactive approach to tasks, with a commitment to providing a high-quality service.
- Teamwork: Able to work in a team, providing leadership and support to fellow team members.
