Electrical Maintenance Engineer

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our electrical, automation, and industrial network systems in our production and warehousing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical, controls, and basic mechanical maintenance tasks to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Complete planned and reactive maintenance activities, recording and reporting all relevant data and information.
  • Overhaul and refurbish parts and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and systematically solve problems.
  • Develop and implement machine modifications and upgrades to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Train and upskill the operations team on new equipment and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot PLC fault codes and identify external faults through software.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained electrical maintenance engineer with a strong understanding of manufacturing engineering equipment.
  • C&G/NVQ3 in electrical engineering and a minimum of five years' experience in manufacturing engineering.
  • Excellent working knowledge of PLC control system architecture and field control devices.
  • Computer literate in MS Office package and ability to use a CMMS system.
