We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Home Manager to join our team at Orchid Healthcare.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing home, providing high-quality care to our elderly residents, and maintaining a positive and supportive work environment for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote clinical and administrative arrangements, training, and care planning within the home
  • Organize and motivate carers to ensure good standards of care are delivered
  • Maintain and monitor the health and welfare of residents
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals, including clients, GPs, and multi-disciplinary team members
  • Ensure CQC National Minimum Standards regulations are met to secure the needs, welfare, and social inclusion of residents
  • Organize and attend regular staff meetings
  • Ensure the overall smooth, efficient, and effective running of the care home

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Home Manager
  • Hold RMA/NVQ5 or equivalent
  • Valid NMC PIN (RGN/RMN desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in budgeting and recruitment
  • Passion for elderly care
