Deputy Head of Information Security Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Head of Information Security to join our team at Click Recruitment. This is a hybrid working opportunity based in Birmingham.

Candidates applying for this role should possess the following skills and experience:

  • Formal certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CISA
  • Education at degree level
  • Leadership and strategy planning experience, with a proven track record of managing and developing a security team
  • Experience with ISO, PCI, NST, Cyber Essentials, and NIST CSF frameworks
  • Governance, policies, and standards development, maintenance, and implementation in a large organisation
  • Experience of drafting and reviewing policies and standards
  • Risk and Compliance management using security frameworks such as ISO 27001
  • Experience of working with and establishing relationships with security agencies
  • Incident Response experience
  • Security architecture design experience
  • Experience in carrying out security reviews
  • Presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to deputise for the Head of Information Security
  • Supply chain and vendor management experience
  • Collaboration with IT, Finance, and procurement teams
  • Desirable experience with NHS Digital/England Toolkits or information security training development
