Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process Optimization: Conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes of supply chain or manufacturing issues and recommend changes to Bills of Materials, drawings, or product designs to reduce Non-Conformance Rates and improve efficiency.
  2. Corrective Actions: Implement and thoroughly monitor corrective actions to ensure lasting improvements in manufacturing processes.
  3. Continuous Improvement: Develop and utilize tools for continuous monitoring to drive optimum efficiency and enhance product quality.
  4. Compliance and Quality: Maintain compliance with Quality Management Systems, Health, Safety, and Environment standards, supporting QA/QC teams with audits and process development.
  5. Efficiency and Cost Reduction: Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  6. Culture of Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting and implementing process enhancements that lead to better business performance.
  7. Vendor Qualification: Qualify and develop new and existing vendors to ensure adherence to quality and efficiency standards.
  8. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on improvements and drive common goals.
  9. Safety and Quality Advocacy: Advocate for safety and quality in all manufacturing processes, ensuring products meet stringent industry standards.
  10. Expertise and Problem-Solving: Serve as an expert engineer, problem solver, data analyst, and efficiency advocate within the manufacturing team.
Qualifications
  1. Essential Qualifications: Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience in manufacturing safety-critical, oilfield-related pressure-retaining equipment.
  2. Technical Skills: Proficient in Product Lifecycle Management, Computer-Aided Design, and Microsoft Office, with strong mathematical, engineering, and analytical skills.
  3. Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage change effectively, and communicate fluently in English.
  4. Quality Management: Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of uniting stakeholders across departments to achieve common goals.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Internal Audit Experience: Internal Audit experience and familiarity with American Petroleum Institute and International Organization for Standardization standards.
  2. Manufacturing Expertise: Expertise in root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and manufacturing of flowline, plug valves, gate valves, and chokes.
  3. Training Certifications: Relevant training certifications.
