Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

Job Summary:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in Southampton. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide specialized support to students with complex needs related to Mental Health, Anxiety, and Behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with EHCPs, ensuring their unique needs are met.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create an inclusive and engaging curriculum that addresses Mental Health, Anxiety, and Behaviour challenges.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment to promote social, emotional, and mental well-being.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of Mental Health, Anxiety, and Behaviour challenges.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
  • Patient and understanding approach when facing challenging behaviour.
  • Proactive and open mindset, working in a multidisciplinary team.
