Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role for a motivated and experienced individual to lead a team of cabin cleaners and ensure the highest standards of cleaning and security are maintained within the cabin services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage and supervise a team of cabin cleaners to ensure quality standards of cleaning and security checks are met.
  • Drive and operate high-lift trucks safely and efficiently, positioning them onto aircraft as required.
  • Act as second-in-command to the Cabin Appearance Manager and monitor aircraft to ensure compliance with relevant processes and procedures.
  • Plan and allocate tasks fairly to team members, ensuring all necessary cleaning and security checks are completed within the allocated timeframe.
  • Update security check sheets and accurately complete and return secure clean and vehicle defect documentation.
  • Collaborate with the allocations team to effectively communicate aircraft arrival times, delays, and secure cleaning turnaround times.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching and mentoring to ensure staff meet service level agreements.
  • Manage absence and ensure staff are signed on and off correctly in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Ensure all paperwork is managed and processed in line with GDPR regulations.
Health and Safety Responsibilities
  • Always follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
  • Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and/or via your divisional incident reporting system.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a driver, preferably with passenger transport.
  • Previous supervisory/management experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A general understanding of H&S legislation.
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and vehicle maintenance knowledge.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Flexible availability to work various shift patterns.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Computer literate.
