At Academics Ltd, we are excited to collaborate with a reputable nursery in Havering, London, that is on the lookout for a dedicated Foundation Stage Practitioner to become part of their supportive team.

This role is incredibly fulfilling, as you will work alongside the Deputy Nursery Manager and Nursery Manager to create a safe and secure environment for young learners.

You will have the chance to develop professionally and share your creative ideas to enhance the nursery's offerings.

Upon entering this wonderful nursery, you will be welcomed by the joyful faces of the children and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences, providing appropriate stimulation and support to children as they prepare for their educational journey.
  • Assist in setting up and dismantling activities in a flexible setting, ensuring that daily provisions are engaging and inviting for the children.
  • Participate in staff evaluations and identify personal training needs.
  • Respond to each child's individual care and attention needs, ensuring a high level of care that promotes their overall health and well-being.
  • Support children during educational outings.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:
  • Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role within Early Years Education.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Experience working with children aged 2-5 years.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Patient, calm, and resilient demeanor.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Ambitious and driven attitude.
