About the Role
The Position
The Position:
GAP Group Limited's Welfare Services division is seeking a skilled Tanker Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient removal of waste from customer sites and the delivery of non-potable water.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 2 tanker vehicle to collect and transport waste and non-potable water to customer sites.
- Ensure that all waste is handled and disposed of in accordance with environmental and health and safety regulations.
- Manage all deliveries and associated paperwork using our bespoke software systems.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries in a professional manner.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tanker Driver who possesses the following qualities:
- Significant experience working within an HGV driving role, loading, delivering, and collecting equipment from customer sites.
- A valid Class 2 driving license, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed, and a valid Digital Tachograph card.
- An understanding of health and safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage customer queries in a professional manner.
