We are expanding our team and are in search of a proficient Operations Manager to enhance our operations. This position is fully remote, with all necessary tools supplied by the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all facets of logistics operations, ensuring optimal efficiency and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with freight agents, transport providers, customs brokers, and various stakeholders.
- Formulate and execute operational strategies aimed at enhancing service delivery.
- Supervise and manage data entry and logistics software (CargoWise).
- Guide and mentor the operations team, promoting a cooperative and effective work environment.
- Address escalations and resolve challenges related to shipments, customs, and logistics operations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Compile and analyze operational reports, offering insights for ongoing enhancement.
Required Skills and Experience
- Significant experience in logistics operations and freight forwarding.
- Demonstrated success in managing road, sea, and air freight operations.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Proficient in utilizing CargoWise and other logistics management software.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage high-pressure scenarios.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
