Application Engineer (Atlassian JIRA) Opportunity

Are you an expert in the Atlassian suite, including JIRA? Do you have a passion for maintaining and updating complex systems? We're seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join our team at Client Server, a global games software house.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update Atlassian systems, including JIRA, JIRA Service Management, and Confluence
  • Test and execute project migrations, installations, and upgrades
  • Optimise system performance through regular clean-ups and provide 3rd line support
  • Create and manage JIRA workflows, project screens, schemes, and fields
  • Provide expertise to users on optimal usage, including creating technical documentation and user guides

About You:

  • Advanced knowledge of the Atlassian product suite, including JIRA, JIRA Service Management, and Confluence
  • Strong experience in configuring JIRA projects for multi-disciplinary teams, including customising workflows, permissions, screens, and issue types
  • Experience with Atlassian installations, upgrades, and migrations
  • Proficient with PostgreSQL, JavaScript, JQL, and experience with EazyBI for JIRA, Rich Filters for JIRA, and ScriptRunner for JIRA
  • Collaborative and pragmatic with great communication skills
