About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Expeditor to join our team at BakerHicks. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the expediting and procurement of equipment on a key project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the expediting of equipment
  • Work closely with project teams and customers to deliver a service that meets their requirements
  • Lead the assessment of quotes and commercial terms, as well as technical and commercial analysis
  • Present and gain approval of Tender Recommendations from customers
  • Expedite and support engineering and construction teams to deliver procured items

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a procurement manager in construction or engineering
  • Experience dealing with Customs for the delivery of major equipment into the UK market
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience interacting with Client representatives and working with construction contractors
