Job Title: 14D Lead Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to join our team in Plymouth.

About the Role:

  • Lead multi-disciplinary engineering activities through design, implementation, and operation with a focus on safety.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation in support of the nuclear safety case.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with PRS processes.
  • Manage complex design development throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement project specifications and plans.

Requirements:

  • Relevant knowledge and skills in technical management of complex design development.
  • Sound understanding of engineering design and safety practice.
  • Experience in project specification and planning.
  • Working knowledge of relevant engineering office computer applications.
  • Experience in design support to construction, operation, refit/repair of conventional and nuclear submarines and/or facilities.
