Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Enable Scotland. As a key member of our employability services, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions to regain or enhance their ability to achieve well-paid, sustainable employment aligned to their vocational goals.

• Deliver vocational rehabilitation services to clients, focusing on their individual needs and goals.
• Work collaboratively with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to create inclusive cultures and improve diversity in the workforce.
• Develop and implement effective intervention programs to support clients in achieving their employment goals.
• Conduct assessments, create personalized plans, and provide ongoing support to clients to overcome barriers to employment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement service development initiatives.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience working with clients with complex Bio-Psychosocial conditions.
• Experience working in a social work, community, primary care, or hospital context.
• Working understanding of vocational rehabilitation and knowledge of practical recommendations for individuals with health conditions and disabilities.
• Excellent communication and motivating skills, with the ability to work with individuals and groups.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office packages.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and proven interpersonal skills.
• Full driving license.
