Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Consultant to join our team as a Nuclear Safety Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on electrical safety matters to our clients in the nuclear industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as safety engineering lead, providing recommendations through analysis to improve the safety engineering performance and delivery of departmental outputs
  • Facilitate the build and commissioning delivery through innovative engineering solutions and problem-solving
  • Ensure the maintenance of design intent during the build and commissioning
  • Advise and conduct intelligent customer duties regarding documentation, advice, and services provided to the business
  • Support the assessment of plant design changes
  • Write and present reports to communicate nuclear safety matters to a variety of internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Materials, Chemistry, Physics expertise
  • Knowledge of the nuclear industry and Nuclear Regulations
  • Proven technical report writing skills
