About the Role:

Calibre Search Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Dublin. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering exciting and varied projects for a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with Eurocode Standards and Safety and Health Regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to drive business growth and development.
  • Contribute to business development and marketing activities, identifying new opportunities and developing proposals to secure new projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in project delivery.

Requirements:

  • At least 6+ years' experience working as a Structural Engineer in a design consultancy in Ireland or the UK.
  • Relevant civil or structural engineering degree (ideally a minimum of a Level 8 qualification from a recognised third-level institution).
  • Chartership (ICE/IStructE/IEI) or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver complex and technical information to engineers and non-engineers alike.
  • Exceptional planning, organisational, and time management skills, with the capability to balance tasks and prioritise to meet tight deadlines.
