About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee operations at our retail store refurbishment project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and ensuring the smooth running of the site.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and manage site staff to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  2. Implement and enforce health and safety regulations on-site to ensure a safe working environment.
  3. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for site maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  4. Oversee inventory management and stock control, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  5. Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  6. Handle customer queries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably in a construction or retail environment.
  2. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site staff.
  3. Excellent organisational abilities, with a focus on time management and prioritisation.
  4. Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including SMSTS and CSCS certifications.
  5. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, with a flexible approach to working hours.

Working Arrangements

This is a freelance position, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the project. The successful candidate will be required to work night shifts, with a 12-hour shift pattern.

What We Offer

As a Site Manager with Unite People Limited, you will have the opportunity to work on a high-profile retail store refurbishment project, with a competitive daily rate of £290.00.
