About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Bar Manager to join our team at ETM Group Careers. As a key member of our bar team, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and a high level of quality in all aspects of the business.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase revenue, working closely with the Senior Management team.
  • Lead and motivate a team of bar staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver outstanding service.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management team to develop and implement new ideas and initiatives to improve the overall customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages and regulations, with a passion for mixology and a love of hospitality.
  • Excellent staff management and motivation skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Good knowledge of stock management and control, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • A love of sport is a definite advantage, but not essential.
