Job Title: Project Development Officer

We are seeking an experienced Project Development Officer to join our team at Stricklandgate House Trust Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Stricklandgate House 4 Sustainable Heritage Project (SGH4SH), a National Lottery Heritage Fund project aimed at redeveloping and enhancing Stricklandgate House to become a heritage and community hub.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project planning and delivery
  • Budget management and financial reporting
  • Development of policies and procedures
  • Supervision of the Community Engagement Officer and Specialist Consultants
  • Production of the Activity Plan and communications plan
  • Collaboration with heritage organisations and charities
  • Partnership working with community organisations and local councils
  • Design and delivery of the monitoring and evaluation plan
Requirements:
  • Experience in project management, heritage, and community engagement
  • Strong communication and partnership working skills
  • Ability to manage multiple strands of activity and deliver project outcomes
  • Grant funding and reporting experience
  • Project financial management skills
  • Development and maintenance of project records
Working Arrangements:

The successful candidate will be based at Stricklandgate House and will be required to work remotely as needed. A clean driving licence is desirable.
