About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as a Traffic Regulation Order Officer with Gloucestershire County Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Traffic Regulation Orders in accordance with legislation and design standards.
  • Prepare reports, manage correspondence, and assist in public engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and legal services to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide supervision to junior members of the team and undertake site visits.
  • Commission TRO work to other consultants and manage relationships to ensure delivery.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with comprehensive knowledge of TRO work, including interpreting and applying highway legislation and regulations.

You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to audit construction works related to a TRO.
