About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Anson McCade. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our OpenStack environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain high-availability OpenStack environments using automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to provide support and ensure the smooth operation of our software-defined data centers.
  • Develop and implement monitoring and logging tools to ensure service continuity and security best practices.
  • Provide expert-level support for Linux OS, particularly RHEL, and scripting skills for automation tasks.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and optimize system performance.
Requirements
  • SC Clearance is required to be active or obtained before joining.
  • In-depth knowledge of core OpenStack services (Nova, Neutron, Keystone, Glance, Cinder) and extensive experience with the Ceph storage platform.
  • Proficient in deploying and configuring OpenStack environments using automation tools.
  • Advanced expertise with Linux OS, particularly RHEL, with strong command line and scripting skills.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent customer service, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities.
