CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team at We Are Workforce Ltd in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading OEM partner in the manufacture and remanufacture of outsourced IC engines and EV batteries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program, set, and operate CNC machines to ensure high-quality production.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure manufacturing shop floor data collection systems are up-to-date.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machines and ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company quality requirements.
  • Use CAD and conventional machines, including Centre Lathe, Turret Mill, and Surface Grinder.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of Mazatrol Siemens and/or Heidenhain controls.
  • Use initiative to create fixtures or jigs to assist in production and have a sound knowledge of tooling, feeds, and speeds.
Requirements:
  • Experience in online and offline programming using VISI software.
  • Ability to project manage parts from cradle to grave and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
