You will be responsible for operating both milling and turning equipment in a highly industrial setting, where safety is a core value ensuring all employees return home safely.
As part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to the efficient production of components, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Key Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist:

  • Interpret technical drawings and follow instructions on the route card.
  • Set up, program, and operate CNC machinery including Bridgeport, Coburg, Hurco, and Soreluce.
  • Manage program loading, editing, and backups.
  • Utilize overhead cranes (training provided).
  • Select appropriate tools for tasks and change inserts as necessary.
  • Conduct inspections of products post-machining or during pre-machining checks as per manufacturing instructions.
  • Make required machine parameter adjustments during setup.
  • Test and dry run new or modified programs, adjusting machine and tool offsets to meet specifications.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Experience in a medium to heavy manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Engineering qualification at level 2 is ideal.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards (ISO 9001).
  • Experience with CAD CAM is a plus.
