About the Role

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Deputy Manager to join a leading care home provider in Bedfordshire. This exceptional care home specializes in providing specialist nursing services for individuals with mid-late stage dementia, ensuring they receive compassionate and personalized care.

Your Responsibilities

  • Cultivate an empowering environment that upholds high standards of professional practice while guaranteeing compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Step in as the acting manager when needed, providing seamless leadership and direction.
  • Offer guidance, support, and motivation to the staff team, empowering them to assist residents in achieving their goals and maximizing their independence.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of dementia care and possess experience working with individuals living with this condition.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability in your approach to meet the evolving needs of the residents and the team.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Proven managerial experience within a similar role, including responsibility for managing and supervising a dedicated staff team.
  • Proficiency in computer skills to effectively manage administrative tasks and resident records.
  • A strong understanding of person-centered, needs-led, and outcome-based service delivery models.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and exceeding expectations.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining confidentiality.
