This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the studio, including people, customer service, marketing, operations, and finance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and lead a team to achieve business objectives.

A typical day in the life of a Studio Manager will involve a mix of floor shifts and administrative tasks. When on shift, you will lead the team, review staff and business operations, and ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Administrative hours will be spent on people-related tasks, such as culture, recruitment, HR, training, and development, as well as driving community spirit and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily studio operations, including people, retail, and facilities
  • Manage staff scheduling to ensure studios run efficiently
  • Conduct regular studio walkthroughs and inspections to maintain facilities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Oversee daily checklists and maintenance logs to ensure maintenance issues are escalated and resolved quickly
  • Manage stock levels and ordering
  • Drive studio performance by analyzing weekly analytics and working towards budgets and KPI targets
Team Leadership
  • Hire, train, and nurture a strong team
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and follow-through to drive morale, engagement, happiness, knowledge, confidence, and skill set
  • Provide effective team and performance management through regular staff check-ins, team meetings, and assessments
  • Build creative team initiatives to ensure strong brand engagement from employees
  • Work closely with the Regional Manager to retain talent and focus on progression and upskilling individuals within the company
Community Marketing
  • Build strong relationships with the local community to drive new business into the studios and offer exclusive benefits
  • Work closely with the internal marketing team to develop ideas to promote the studio and its offerings
  • Drive studio performance by analyzing weekly analytics and working towards budgets and KPI targets to focus on revenue and retention

  • Uphold Psycle's core values and brand standards at all times
  • Lead by example and remain a brand ambassador within the studio and external community
  • Support the inclusivity of Psycle and drive the business forward to be the best it can be
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of proven ability leading people in a management role
  • Proven experience managing operations
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
