Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Solutions Associate to join our team in London. As a key member of our Business Development Unit, you will play a critical role in supporting our sales leaders with large new-business opportunities across various client types.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop in-depth knowledge of Mercer's investment research and client solutions, in order to explain and communicate to colleagues and prospective clients.
  2. Work closely with sales and commercial leadership on all aspects of sales and business development activities, and demonstrate ownership of key sales deliverables including new business proposals, pitch material, and any areas of specialist expertise that you may be assigned to.
  3. Support and influence other business development initiatives such as roll-out of new tools, product launches, marketing initiatives, go to market strategy, market research, and intelligence. This will involve collaborating with worldwide Mercer colleagues across our wider investment, operational, client, and consulting teams.
  4. Support, guide, and coach more junior colleagues, and contribute to continuous development of the team.

Requirements:

  1. Third-level qualification with a strong academic track record and strong interest in capital markets and investment industry (CFA and actuarial candidates welcome).
  2. Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deliverables simultaneously.
  3. Strong IT skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word with ability to embrace other tools).
