About the Role
As a Senior Audit Specialist, you will play a key part in shaping the practices and procedures of audit firms by providing specialized services to enhance their audit quality. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to the development of innovative services and programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform work on existing programs, including methodology reviews, audit file reviews, and round tables to develop customers' understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Present to audit firms to provide feedback on services delivered and share best practices.
- Upskill firms to audit PIEs, support review of quality control systems, and aspects of compliance.
- Identify and develop innovative ways to support audit firms.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program success.
- Develop and manage stakeholder relationships to maximize program success.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant with extensive experience as an auditor.
- Experience in audit regulatory sector, including audit firm inspection, supervision, or quality control work.
- Experience working with smaller audit firms, various audit engagements, and industries.
- Experience developing and implementing new services, operational processes, and methods.
- Excellent communication skills.
