Assistant Merchandiser Opportunity

Page Personnel Finance is seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join their dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent. This role offers a competitive salary up to £30,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the planning team, head of Pre-production planning, and other stakeholders to ensure effective product data management.
  • Provide timely and accurate trade information, highlighting risks and opportunities, to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Buying Director and Buying Manager to ensure all product data is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Support the Merchandiser in preparing documents for Range Reviews, Sign Offs, and Strategy presentations.
  • Contribute to the development of robust and accurate Range Plans to meet sales targets.
  • Work closely with the Buying and Merch Team to review Seasonal Lessons Learnt and Strategy.
  • Responsible for creating and managing accurate line detail for all products each season.
  • Collaborate with the DC team, Pre-production, and Web team to ensure timely product launches.
  • Develop innovative Excel spreadsheets to analyze performance, availability, and stock holdings, applying formulae and pivot tables to automate reports.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an Assistant Merchandiser - Essential
  • Experience working within an established Retail business - Essential
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Essential
  • Experience with NetSuite - Desirable
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Essential
  • Strong organizational and time management skills - Essential
  • Ability to efficiently manage workload - Essential
