Job Overview:

We are looking for a committed Civils Operative to support our operations in Manchester. This role is essential for the effective transportation of materials to various construction sites and providing vital assistance to our construction teams. The position may involve working on-site as needed, with training opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transporting materials and equipment to specified work locations.
  • Assisting construction teams with the loading and unloading of materials as required.
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vehicles and machinery.
  • Complying with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Effectively communicating with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks.
  • Performing general maintenance tasks as necessary.
  • Providing assistance to teams on-site under supervision until qualifications are obtained.

Qualifications:

  • Valid UK driving license with a clean driving history.
  • Previous experience in a similar position is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities as required.
  • Capability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as necessary.
