Job Overview

An exciting opportunity to oversee and guide all contractual operations, leading the team to ensure compliance and successful project execution at every level.

Role Responsibilities

- Manage client relationships and ensure exceptional service delivery.

- Strive for optimal performance metrics on all contracts.

- Inspire and evaluate team performance through regular meetings.

- Deliver professional contract execution.

- Allocate resources effectively for contract fulfillment.

- Implement change control protocols to identify and agree on project variations.

- Issue Early Warning Notices as necessary and participate in Risk Mitigation Meetings.

- Recognize potential compensation events and initiate appropriate actions.

- Ensure timely and professional responses to client inquiries from the contract administration team.

- Lead service delivery while ensuring operational efficiency through appropriate methodologies.

- Support and guide the management and administrative teams in effective contract delivery.

- Prepare and present monthly contract reports to senior management.

- Participate in internal meetings to update management on contract status.

- Engage in client meetings to foster strong relationships.

- Assess organizational structures to align service delivery with business priorities.

- Ensure adherence to corporate and contractual governance, including technical specifications.

- Maintain financial oversight and comprehensive understanding of the contract's P&L.

- Conduct root cause analyses on risk incidents and manage action plans.

- Hold daily internal meetings with the contract management team to ensure seamless operations.

- Ensure KPI monitoring through Event Control Screens.

- Address and act on any identified training needs.

- Propose and implement contract enhancements, presenting these improvements to management.

  • Willingness to undergo specific training as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Familiarity with NEC form of contracts (other forms may be acceptable).
  • Experience with compensation events and adjudication processes.
  • Extensive senior management experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years in the construction industry.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying preferred, but other construction-related qualifications will be considered.
