Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Stock Management Specialist to join our team at Peppermint Bars & Events. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth management of our stock systems, processes, and inventory across multiple venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock System Management
    • Develop and implement efficient stock management systems and processes to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of inventory levels.
    • Collaborate with venue managers and their teams to ensure each location has the most compatible range of products to achieve desired margin targets and variety requirements.
  • Procurement and Supply Chain
    • Proactively manage each venue's process and system for stock ordering, stock taking, and maintaining at appropriate PAR levels across the entire business.
    • Assist the Head of Stock in buying better for each venue, utilizing our network of wholesalers, RTMs, and our own warehouse stocks.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Complete regular onsite audits of each venue's operations, holding, process, and stock GP's.
    • Use expert analytical skills to provide regular financial reporting, along with specific actionable feedback and action plans.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Regular on-site support to engage and support the teams while seeing things first hand.
    • Occasional extended trips away, including overseas, for in-depth review and venue launches.
Requirements
  • Essential:
    • Venue, festival, or club management experience.
    • Stock system, process, and analysis experience.
    • High-level Excel and other relevant systems for stock management and reporting.
    • Pivot Tables and Lookups are essential.
    • A solid understanding of UK alcohol beverage brands and SKU types.
    • Considerably strong numerical skills with experience reviewing large data sets.
    • A stringently high attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Above-average glossary of event industry terms.
    • Knowledge of industry-standard stock margins.
    • UK Right to Work with in-date passport for travel abroad.
    • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Preferred:
    • Warehouse experience.
    • Venue build and launch experience.
    • Project Management.
    • Multi-site management experience.
Travel and Other Requirements
  • Hybrid/flexible working is possible. At least one day a week is required at our Head Office (London) during the summer months (unless on multiple venue visits).
  • The role requires regular visits across the various locations within the role's remit. This will include overseas occasionally.
  • During new venue launch onsite support is crucial.
  • Travel, accommodation, and expenses are available as part of the role.
