Job Summary:
Acteon Group Ltd is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join their team in Aberdeen. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording and management of equipment inventory, including condition pre and post hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Record movements of all items held in InterMoor equipment inventory, including condition pre and post hire.
- Equipment Logging: Assist with logging of equipment at mobilization and demobilization to ensure traceability, which will include direct contact with client representatives.
- Yard Duties: Perform general yard duties, including all aspects of housekeeping and stock control.
- Equipment Inspection: Conduct equipment inspections in line with guidelines for pass/fail criteria.
- Offshore and International Work: Work offshore and internationally to facilitate stock taking as required at relevant sites.
- Duty Responsibility: Control of Asset Count under audit-controlled supervision to ensure accurate recording for submission of write-offs.
Requirements:
- Education: Good standard of general education.
- Experience: 2 years' experience of mooring equipment handling and inspection.
- Driving License: Full UK Driving Licence.
- Work Environment: Experience of working within a yard environment or similar.
- Software Skills: Effective/competent MS Office Suite User.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
