About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Practitioner to join our team at Wiltshire Health and Care LLP. As an Emergency Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Minor Injury Unit (MIU) at Chippenham Community Hospital. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with minor injuries and illnesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients with minor injuries and illnesses
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse or HCPC registered Paramedic
- Emergency Practitioner course at level 3 or Masters level
- Teaching qualification, equivalent, or willingness to undertake
- Demonstrable evidence of continuing professional development at Degree / Diploma level
