At The AA, we're looking for a skilled Fleet Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our fleet management team, you'll be responsible for overseeing the in-life delivery of vehicle-related services for our AA Driving Schools.
The role involves managing the entire fleet of approximately 4,000 vehicles, ensuring they remain operational and compliant with regulatory requirements. You'll work closely with our suppliers to optimize fleet costs and implement effective supplier management principles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing in-life fleet routines for services delivered to the driving school
- Overseeing the supply chain to meet customer demand
- Ensuring fleet processes comply with legal requirements
- Developing and managing the annual in-life fleet budget and forecasts
- Collaborating with the group resources to build a world-class Service, Maintenance, and Repair (SMR) program
As a Fleet Operations Manager, you'll have the opportunity to work with a range of stakeholders, including franchisees, driving instructors, and the management team. You'll be responsible for delivering a first-class service and ensuring that our fleet remains operational and compliant.
We're looking for someone with a proven track record in fleet management, supplier management, and financial appreciation. You'll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
