Job Purpose

This role involves collaborating closely with tutors to deliver exceptional support to learners within a classroom setting. You will actively follow tutor guidance, work seamlessly as part of a team with fellow Support Staff Workers (SSWs) to ensure effective student support.

Your responsibilities extend to liaising with key team members to contribute to the development of lesson plans that cater to learners' educational and pastoral needs. This collaborative approach aims to foster progression towards independent learning and further educational opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to adult learners requiring assistance, ensuring alignment with funding requirements for assessment.
  • Guide and mentor SSWs and specialist SSWs, promoting best practices that empower students to achieve their full potential and progress effectively.
