About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Financial Services Associate. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Advisers through the delivery of suitability reports and the acquisition of prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce comprehensive, accurate, and clear suitability reports on a wide range of topics, including pensions, investments, retirement, inheritance tax, and protection.
  • Assess initial fact finds and case quality, providing feedback to the adviser before commencing work on cases.
  • Maintain accurate back-office records, ensuring client files meet regulatory and company requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with process changes resulting from technical, legislative, and regulatory developments.
  • Liaise with third-party providers to acquire additional information as required.
  • Collaborate with our internal compliance department to ensure cases are graded as suitable first time.
  • Meet internal service level agreements for the delivery of compliant advice in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to business development by building relationships with new clients and identifying financial planning needs on behalf of the Wealth Adviser.
  • Develop your skills and experience through personal development opportunities.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following qualities:

  • Ambition to become a Financial Adviser within the coming 2-3 years.
  • Unwavering drive and determination.
  • Part-qualified in the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning.
  • Some experience in paraplanning or business development.
  • Working experience within the financial advice industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Sales skills.
  • Strong team player.
