Financial Planning Administrator Job Description

Eventus Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join our team in Stockport, Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market-leading Financial Planning / IFA Firm, offering a complete range of independent Financial Planning services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Paraplanners and Financial Advisers in delivering a first-class and compliant service.
  • Manage a bank of consultants and their clients, providing excellent customer service and administrative support.
  • Process transfers, top-ups, withdrawals, income, contributions, fund switches, and protection in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Investigate and handle client/consultant queries, manage post relating to new business cases, and deal with client/provider queries over the phone and via email.
  • Maintain client records on the back-office system and cover receptionist duties such as post, phone calls, and greeting clients.
Requirements:
  • Experience working for an IFA/Financial Planning firm and knowledge of pension and investment products.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and willing to take the initiative, with strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt and multitask.
  • Excellent telephone manner and IO experience is desirable.
