The Opportunity

Have you ever aspired to oversee the maintenance of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility?

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at our newly established, purpose-built Asphalt production facility. This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with hours from 05:00 to 15:00 and an early finish on Fridays.

In this modern factory, you will have the chance to lead the engineering operations on-site, while also visiting our other local Asphalt facilities to enhance and share the engineering practices developed from this new establishment.

As the newest Asphalt Plant within Aggregate Industries, you will work with cutting-edge equipment and have the freedom to establish best practices. Your responsibilities will include implementing a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and developing the inventory management system to minimize downtime. You will engage in both reactive and scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure our operations run smoothly, with the opportunity to design and create your own workshop environment.

Who You Are

You are an experienced Mechanical or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer eager to refine processes while being hands-on. This role offers a strategic dimension as you develop a tailored stores system and PPM schedule that suits both your needs and those of the site.

You should be apprentice-trained or possess a Level 3 Mechanical qualification. We are committed to your professional growth and will provide opportunities for further training and development, both internally and externally.

While basic fabrication skills are advantageous, we are prepared to offer training and qualifications as needed.
