Job Overview

ARM's Systems Development team is seeking a skilled SoC Verification Engineer to create subsystems and SoC designs for various application segments. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of verifying and testing sophisticated IP such as CPUGPUDSP processors with memory controllers and interconnect fabrics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement test plans, methodologies, and functional verification to meet quality and schedule requirements.
  2. Collaborate with project management and leads on planning tasks, setting schedules, and quality checkpoints.
  3. Work with engineers from other teams, including architecture, design, implementation, modelling, performance analysis, silicon validation, FPGA, and board development.
  4. Principal Engineers will mentor junior members and contribute to the team's growth.
Required Skills and Experience
  1. Experience with embedded C/C++ based SoC verification environments.
  2. Knowledge of assembly language (ARM) and hardware verification languages (SystemVerilog, Tcl, Perl, Python).
  3. Proficiency in one or more verification methodologies (UVM, formal, low power, emulation).
  4. Understanding of all stages of verification: requirements collection, verification methodology plans, test plans, testbench implementation, test case development, documentation, and support.
  5. Practical experience verifying processor-based system designs.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to present complex technical concepts to various audiences.
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
  1. Understanding of Arm system architectures.
  2. Power-aware and Clock Domain Crossing implementation.
  3. Experience with embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor, and embedded system hardware architectures.
  4. Verification of subsystems for PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, Ethernet.
  5. Development and deployment of large SoCs on emulation platforms.
