Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Surveyor to join our team. As an Asset Management Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial properties, including but not limited to:

  • Lease Administration
    • Monitoring leases and dealing with lease expiries, renewals, and rent reviews
  • Property Marketing
    • Marketing available space, negotiating new lettings, and instructing and working with legal advisors
  • Service Charge Management
    • Responsibility for service charge budgets and authorizing works, including refurbishment programs, alongside the construction team to ensure properties are kept in good repair
  • Investment and Development
    • Assisting with investment purchases and developments as and when they arise

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage lease expiries, renewals, and rent reviews
  • Market available space and negotiate new lettings
  • Authorize works, including refurbishment programs, to ensure properties are kept in good repair
  • Assist with investment purchases and developments

Requirements

  • Proven experience in asset management or a related field
  • Strong understanding of commercial property law and regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
