About the Role

We are seeking two highly organized and detail-oriented Completions Assistants to join our Operations Team at Stellar Select Limited. As a Completions Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Completions Underwriters in ensuring the smooth completion of mortgage transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process requests for offer extensions and edit, save, and produce letters
  • Process requests to post or email mortgage offers
  • Scan, upload, and allocate documents and emails to the DPR system
  • Chase brokers, solicitors, and valuers for outstanding information or documentation
  • Make outbound calls to solicitors, brokers, and other third parties
  • Provide telephone support and answer incoming calls during busy times
  • Create customer mortgage offer packs
  • Produce and send reminders to solicitors and brokers for expiring mortgage offers
  • Provide support to the Completions Underwriters with post and ad-hoc duties
  • Instruct valuation re-inspections using the Quest website
  • Organize declined or cancelled files and close outstanding diaries and tasks
  • Work to agreed objectives, service standards, and deliverables
  • Deal with queries and enquiries effectively, accurately, and professionally, delivering excellent customer service
  • Develop positive working relationships with colleagues
  • Make suggestions for improvements to processes to enhance service and efficiency
  • Adhere to internal and external compliance, credit review, and audit requirements
  • Apply all aspects of the desired consumer outcomes of Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF)
  • Take responsibility for your own learning and development
  • Perform all other associated duties and responsibilities as required by management
Requirements
  • Strong administration experience gained in an office environment
  • Experience in Financial Services is advantageous but not essential
  • Confident in making outbound calls
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and keen to learn and develop a career in Financial Services
  • Adaptive to ongoing change
  • PC literate with a knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Willingness to study for relevant Financial Services qualifications
