About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Analyst to join our team at Bestway Healthcare UK. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing analytical support to our Group Treasurer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical support to the Group Treasurer in relation to cash flow forecasting and bank statement transactions.
  • Support the current Treasury Analyst and the SSC team in accurate reconciliation of all cash and bank activity across all cash books.
  • Investigate discrepancies and agree on resolutions with the Group Treasurer.
  • Ensure cash and bank controls and processes are adhered to, maintaining financial integrity at all times.
  • Prepare, analyze, and monitor both long- and short-term cash forecasts to identify areas for action.
  • Report Cash and Bank KPIs on a weekly basis.
  • Liaise with Risk Management auditors to support queries.
  • Responsible for the review of period-end reconciliation of all cash and bank accounts, as well as other cash-related debtors and creditors.
  • Responsible for all documentation of cash and bank processes, including regular reviews and cross-training as required.
  • Support the SSC team with the raising of payment runs for all AP ledgers, commissions, foreign, and sundry payments.
  • Cover and support the SSC Treasury team as required, mainly:
    • Reconcile all branch cash takings to the bank statement on a weekly basis, identifying and investigating variances.
    • Manage the import of all branch credit card and Amex transactions and reconcile to the bank statement on a weekly basis.
    • Reconcile all transactions on the bank statement daily, ensuring customer receipts are posted to AR, supplier payments/DDs are posted to AP, and other receipts and payments are coded correctly.
Requirements
  • Studying AAT or intention to study Treasury qualifications (preferable).
  • Excellent Excel skills and confident in using Excel and finance systems (Open Accounts, EBIS, Bluebox).
  • Previous experience of working in a Treasury/Cash and Bank role with high volumes of transactions.
  • An eye for detail, good at problem-solving, and comfortable working with a high volume of data on a daily basis.
  • Manage multiple bank accounts and cash books, multiple varied payment types, and revenue streams.
  • High volume of cash and credit card transactions to be reconciled on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Be flexible to the needs of a rapidly growing business.
