Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Export Operations Coordinator to join our team at First Choice Staff. As an Export Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling AOG/time-sensitive shipments, export documentation, and customs procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle AOG/time-sensitive shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Collate and prepare export documentation, including airway bills, customs forms, and security procedures
- Coordinate with airlines, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth shipment processing
- Verify and validate export documentation to ensure compliance with IATA regulations
- Manage customs procedures, including IPR/OPR/Export Licence entries
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues promptly
- Work effectively under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in export operations, preferably in a freight forwarding company
- Strong knowledge of export regulations, customs procedures, and IATA standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software systems
- Valid driver's license, due to the location of the role
